California Education Foundations Making News
Santa Clarita Education Foundation adds Bay of Books to Read with me project.
The goal of this program is for students to pick up the habit of reading outside school. It also offers a opportunity for quality family time.
Healdsburg Education Foundation sponsors a Garden/Nutrition Enrichment Program of the creates a passion for lifelong learning, draws on community expertise, and allows classroom teachers opportunities for grade level planning. The enrichment program allows students to make the connection between what they learn in school and what they do at home. Chick here for link to article.

Residents of Helena, Montana enjoy a gourmet dinner and lively dinner conversation non a topic of interest while supporting the Helena Education Foundation.  See "Great Conversations" for a fund raiser that engages 300 people long after the event is over.
Leland Education Foundation hosts “Insight and Inspiration Speaker Series” designed to illuminate, entertain, and inspire the community by providing an opportunity to interact with Leelanau County residents who are nationally recognized experts in their diverse fields. Speakers are invited to “bring the world to Leelanau,” while also sharing how Leelanau influenced their lives.
